76 members of Congress have signed on to a January 20, 2026 letter to the State Department issued by Senator Peter Welch and Congressman Ro Khanna calling on Israel to halt land confiscation and annexation plans impacting the Palestinian villages of Taybeh, Wadi Foquin, Silwan, and Al-Walaja, evidence of a shift in the political winds regarding Congressional support for the Palestinian people.
The urgency for these villages remains. Join staff of Sen. Welch and Rep. Khanna, along with Hassan El-Tayyab from the Friends Committee on National Legislation, for updates on next steps and building relationships with members of Congress on Palestine.
