Esty Dinur will talk with Rev. Fahed Abuakel, Presbyterian minister in Atlanta, GA & past moderator of the 214th General Assembly of the Presbyterian church U.S.A. He will discuss the nakba and the current situation in Gaza and the West Bank, as well as related issues such as the flotilla effort.
Abuakel was born in Kufer Yassif, Galilee, Palestine before the the State of Israel was established in 1948 and is a Nakba survivor. He holds a Master of Divinity from Columbia Seminary, Decatur, GA and a Doctor of Ministry from Mckormick Seminary, Chicago, IL.
