Majd al-Krum (“Glory of the Vineyard”) is a Palestinian town in the Galilee known for vineyards, olive groves, rich cultural traditions, and a deep connection to the land.
Home to both original inhabitants and those who fled other parts of Palestine in 1948, residents navigate a difficult life as second-class citizens in “Israel” with housing and land pressures, demolition notices, land seizures to expand Israeli roads and settlements, and chronic under-investment in infrastructure like water and electricity.
Yet Majd al-Krum remains steadfast in its longstanding commitment to preserving its heritage and advocating for justice and equality in the face of ongoing occupation and oppression.
