Hello Riders!!
I’m writing to thank you for riding with Madison’s Big Ride for Palestine, and invite you to hear directly from Zeiad Shamrouch from Middle East Children’s Alliance about the ride and MECA’s work in Palestine. Zeiad will be joining Gil Halstead on WORT Radio’s World View this Sunday, June 28 starting at 5pm. Can’t listen on Sunday? No problem — the show will be archived at https://www.wortfm.org/news-talk/news/world-view/.
We’re so grateful to all of you who rode in previous rides for Middle East Children’s Alliance in Madison, and If you’ve already registered to ride this year, Thank You!!
We need every one of you!!
The humanitarian crisis brought on by Israel’s Genocide in Gaza worsens daily in ways most of us cannot imagine, and MECA’s work to bring food, drinkable water, shelter and assistance to those who need it most has never been more critical.
Madison’s Big Ride on July 19 is a chance to show our unrelenting solidarity with the children of Palestine in this desperate time. It’s an invitation to our friends and colleagues to contribute to MECA’s lifesaving work by sponsoring us as riders, and an opportunity for Madison to show up strong and affirm the desperate need to end Israel’s blockade and open a humanitarian corridor to Gaza.
Check out the Madison Team Page at https://tinyurl.com/MadisonRide4Palestine to register for this year’s ride, donate, or share with your networks. And if you’d like to help out with the ride, visit https://tinyurl.com/help-ride to sign up.
