Join University of Wisconsin-La Crosse History Professor Heidi Morrison at Pearl Street Books January 23 at 6:30 PM to discuss her new book Lived Resistance: Against the War on Palestinian Children. This book examines how children endure and survive in war, as seen through the case study of Palestine. Palestinian children tend to be stereotyped as helpless victims or dangerous terrorists. This book provides a look into how the children see themselves and struggle to rebuild their lives amongst ongoing war.

There will be a discussion, some readings from her book, a Q&A, along with a chance to purchase a book and have it signed.

Professor Morrison is a long time member and leader of the Coulee Region for Palestinian Rights.
