| Over the last two and a half years, we have all witnessed a genocide unfolding in Gaza. Yet it is important to recognize that the global solidarity movement with the Palestinian people has been growing by leaps and bounds. From US student protesters to Italian dockworkers refusing to load goods bound to Israel, the calls for justice for the Palestinians are louder than ever. Major Christian denominations are condemning Israeli apartheid, millions around the world have protested Israel’s Gaza genocide and there is now wide support for the boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) movement. Even US politicians are increasingly pressured to reject pro-Israel lobby funding. |
