Just a few weeks ago, President Biden approved over $20 billion of arms sales to Israel.³

These sales include weaponry linked to the deaths of tens of thousands of civilians in Gaza.

Exporting such weapons violates U.S. laws, including the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 and the Arms Export Control Act (AECA).

Right now, the Sanders Joint Resolutions of Disapproval (JRD) is the only vehicle available in Congress to block the proposed U.S. arms sales to Israel.

Nearly a year into Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza, more than 41,200 Palestinians have been massacred, with experts putting the death toll at more than 186,000.⁴

Israel’s military strikes on schools, hospitals, tent refugee camps, and aid convoys are only possible with U.S. military support.

It has to end.
