Subject: Less than 8 days until “Call to Action Weekend!”

February 20-22, 2026

Building Unity for Nonviolent Action is a new coalition of over 25 groups who are working to get our communities united, organized, trained, and ready to use the power of nonviolent action in response to the authoritarian violence that has befallen many of our neighbors. To keep up to date with our progress you can read our BU4NVA Updates page.

We are working to form Nonviolent Action Teams within neighborhoods, congregations, unions, work places, friendsgroups, interest groups, and other communities. These teams simply agree to get action alerts via texts and to respond as they are able.

In less than eight days we are launching a “Call to Action Weekend” – Feb. 20, 21, & 22 – three days – four big events – one united mission: To call our communities to action: we must get ready for nonviolent resistance to authoritarian violence and other increasing threats to our safety and security.
