Wednesday, September 17

Volunteer at an evening of music for Palestine at Giant Jones in Madison with Madison musicians Camela Widad, Blasfemme and Clare Norelle, plus poetry & readings. Proceeds will be split between Middle East Children’s Alliance, and rural families struggling to remain on their land in Masafer Yatta in the West Bank.

Volunteer at the Madison Night Market

Palestine Partners would love your help selling embroidery from the West Bank Palestinian Women’s cooperative Women in Hebron. Setup starts at 2 pm and the market is open from 5-9 with cleanup afterwards.  The Night Market is a great opportunity to talk with people about Palestine, and a good chance to help these Palestinian women who desperately need to sell their work here, now that that is completely impossible for them at home. If you’re interested in helping out please text or email Cassandra so that we can let you know where we’ll be when we have a space assignment from the market.

North Side yard and craft sale to benefit Palestine

Clare Norelle will be hosting a yard-and-craft sale at her home on the north side, and could use help with setting up on the morning of the 27th and possibly with getting ready on the 26, and with staffing the sale during the day and cleaning up in the late afternoon/evening.
