Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions (ICAHD) Online, 11 AM CT

Join Kairos South Africa’s Rev. Edwin Arrison and ICAHD-USA co-chairs Robert Herbst and Michael Spath for a discussion of the global significance of Navi Pilay being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, especially now during Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza and the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
Born into apartheid South Africa, Navi Pillay is a current judge on the International Court of Justice who previously served on the ICC and recently led the UN Commission of Inquiry that accused Israel of genocide in Gaza. Upon receiving the award, she said, “We are living through an era when international law and human rights are under significant political attack. … [I dedicate this prize] to all of the survivors of international crimes and defenders of international justice.”
