2026.07.25: Disability Pride Festival & PKU

Warner Park, 2930 N Sherman Av, Madison, 12-5 pm

Madison-Rafah Sister City Project (MRSCP) will be tabling at the Disability Pride Festival for our Gaza PKU campaign!

Phenylketonuria (PKU) is a rare, inherited disorder that, especially for developing kids, requires a specialized diet in order to avoid permanent mental and physical disability.

In Gaza, Israel’s war and blockade prevent both production and importation of the needed food. Everyone in Gaza is hungry, but for PKU kids, the situation is critical.

In response to a request, Madison-Rafah Sister City Project (MRSCP) is launching a campaign to provide safe food to as many of Gaza’s PKU kids as possible. Our goal is to raise $30,000 to feed 50 children for six months.

This is both a humanitarian effort and an affirmation that Gaza is their home, where Palestinian families have the right to live with dignity and care.

Help us feed children and families!
