Ramallah governorate took 154 of them, a third of the month’s attacks, with at least one on every day of September. The month ran above the 2026 monthly average of 459, and the olive harvest pushed it higher at the end: from September 22 to 30, attacks rose to nearly 19 a day.
The PLO Negotiations Affairs Department’s report for September 29 alone lists settlers stealing olive harvests or cutting down olive trees in eight villages of Ramallah governorate, among them Turmus Ayya, Sinjil, al-Mughayyir, Ni’lin and Deir Ammar. The next day’s report records settlers beating a farmer as he harvested his olives; he was taken to hospital.

A correction. Our October 23 email undercounted settler attacks. In August, the structure of the daily reports we count from changed, and our count read several attacks as one. The corrected total for January 1 to October 22, 2026 is 4,871 attacks, about 16.5 a day, not the 4,054 (nearly 14 a day) we reported.
