The Madison Chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine is holding a lighted vigil tomorrow evening, Tuesday October 17 at 5 pm in Alumni Park, 724 Langdon Street, Madison (between the Memorial Union and the Red Gym).
They are asking for community support so please consider joining the vigil. Bring signs, candles, flags and kuffiyehs.
Also, a huge THANK YOU to the hundreds of people who attended our Stand with Palestine event on Sunday at Tenney Park. We were able to raise significant funds to support Gaza humanitarian relief through the Middle East Children’s Alliance, support planting trees in the Madison-Masafer Yatta Grove, and hold a spirited sidewalk vigil along East Johnson Street. The event was covered by Channel 27 and Channel 15, KWCH Channel 12, and Spectrum News.
