Amnesty International just released a major report1 documenting how the Israeli government has committed and is continuing to commit genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.
Right now, successfully pressing the U.S. to suspend sending arms to Israel until it stops committing genocide and other crimes under international law is our NUMBER ONE priority. But we need your help to get it done.
As the world watches, these relentless attacks and the denial of life-saving supplies is continuing with impunity.
One person we spoke with, Mohammed, a Palestinian who fled with his family from Gaza City to Rafah this March and was displaced again in May, describes his struggle to survive in horrifying conditions:
“It’s like an apocalypse… You have to protect your children from insects, from the heat, and there is no clean water, no toilets, all while the bombing never stops. You feel like you are subhuman here.”
Barb: no government, military, or leader should be allowed to commit genocide and walk free. There MUST be accountability for genocide and other crimes under international law.
With the release of and attention building around our new investigations, we urgently need your help to put pressure on Congress to stop funding or approving weapons transfers to Israel that are being used in violation of international law, including prohibited acts under the Genocide Convention.
Act now: It takes one minute to send your letter today using our simple tool.
More than 43,000 people have died in Gaza since October 7th — nearly 70% of them women and children. Hospitals, ambulances, schools, places of worship, and refugee camps have been bombed. There is nowhere safe to go in Gaza.
Yet, the U.S. government continues to transfer billions of dollars in weapons to the Israeli government despite evidence that they are being used to commit violations of international law — including prohibited acts under the Genocide Convention.
By continuing to supply weapons to the Israeli government, the U.S. government is violating its obligation to prevent and punish genocide and is at serious risk of becoming complicit in genocide.
The U.S. has INCREDIBLY powerful influence to save thousands of civilian lives from airstrikes and other military attacks, and from a lack of basic health care, water, food, and fuel.
But they need to hear from YOU and millions of others across the country right now.
If you have even one minute, send your letter today.
