A quick guide to Israeli public relations
“We haven’t heard reports of deaths, we’ll check into it. The people were killed, but by a faulty Palestinian rocket or bomb. OK, we killed them, but they were terrorists. OK, they were civilians, but they were being used as human shields. OK, there were no fighters in the area, so it was our mistake. But we kill civilians by accident, they do it on purpose. OK, we kill far more civilians than they do, but look at how terrible other countries are! Why are you still talking about Israel? Are you some kind of antisemite?”

The Yellow Line is a deadline. The markers are more than two football fields apart. You need two markers for a line; one is only a point. A FRANCE 24 journalist said:

“One of the things we saw very clearly today is that it is close to impossible to see where it is. Close to 200 people have been killed in the vicinity of this line.

“The army can’t 100 percent define where it is. I am certain the Gazan civilians and even armed militias can’t really know where it is. So, this [is a] matter of Gazans who keep getting killed for crossing an invisible line.”

Translated from Hebrew by Google:

Documentation: IDF forces mark the yellow line in the Gaza Strip

As part of the ceasefire agreement and further to the guidance of the political echelon, IDF forces in the Southern Command began marking the yellow line in the Gaza Strip with the aim of creating tactical clarity in the field.

The marking is done on a concrete base with a yellow marked pole at a height of 3.5 meters from the ground.

The concrete blocks will be placed in the field at distances of approximately 200 meters, in accordance with the terrain conditions between each marking, and the task of marking the line will continue in the near future.

IDF forces in the Southern Command continue to operate to eliminate any threat to the forces and protect the citizens of the State of Israel.
