The Committee referred a revised Sister City resolution to the July 20 Common Council meeting, recommending adoption.

Common Council
The Council debated and voted on the resolution, rejecting it by a vote of 9 in favor and 8 opposed, 11 votes being required for passage.
In favor: Austin King, Brenda Konkel, Jean MacCubbin, Judy Olson, Matt Sloan, Mike Verveer, Brian Benford, Robbie Webber, Timothy Bruer.
Opposed: Greg Markle, Warren Onken, Paul Skidmore, Cindy Thomas, Linda Bellman, Zach Brandon, Judy Compton, Paul Van Rooy.
Abstaining: Ken Golden, Steve Holtzman.
Absent: Santigo Rosas.
