Fighting Bob Fest is right around the corner and MRSCP is preparing some fun activities to show Progressive leaders that foreign policy matters and that PEP (Progressive Except on Palestine) is not acceptable.
This year’s main Saturday event will be held at Breese Stevens Field on East Washington Avenue in Madison. Because the event is open to the elements, we decided NOT to have our own table this year. However, we are planning some leafleting, petitioning, sticker distribution and banner display. Our life-sized “Hippocrat” is scheduled to return, offering those who complete our “Hypocrisy Now Quiz” the chance to enter a drawing for a free copy of the new graphic novel, Baddawi.
Bob Fest’s Friday night opening event will be held at the Barrymore Theater as usual, although it is scheduled to be a comedy show rather than the usual pep rally with some of Saturday’s speakers. We also plan to be at that event.
