I know many of you are upset about the death of Alex Pretti in Minneapolis over weekend, as am I. I am hoping to channel my anger into action. I reached out to the campaign manager of Sara Rodriquez, our current Lt Governor that is running for Governor this year. She is a fellow RN and would be happy to stand with us to recognize the injustice that has occurred over the weekend. 

1. We will be acknowledging the life and heroism of Alex Pretti and counteract the slander that US government officials have put forth. We will pray for his family.

2. We will ask that the officers responsible for his murder, and the murder of Renee Good, are held accountable. We want them to be charged and arrested immediately. 

3. We ask for proactive legislation to keep Wisconsin safe from ICE overreach. We will highlight the Keeping Families Together bill and asking our elected officials for bipartisan support to get this passed. 

* FYI, this is very much NOT a protest environment. (Although I love a good protest, I understand not everyone is comfortable with that). I am encouraging everyone to wear scrubs, but keep your badges or any work related insignia at home. You are not representing your place of employment. I hope this helps alleviate any concerns!
